To get these wands you’ll have to locate lots of items in each area of woodlands. Once you have the magical ingredients you are taken to a place where you can mix the items – get the combinations correct and tap the magic urns in the right order and the wand will be created. Then you can return to the forest and paint all sorts of magic onto the scene.

The Flower Wand fills the screen with blooms while the Itsy-Bitsy Wand paints on all manner of tiny insect life. Then there’s the Sparkle Wand, the Rainbow Wand and the Fairy Magic Wand, each one with its own special brand of magic, and all you need to do is wave it over the right areas of forest.

Each of the five main screens also has some woodland creatures that need a little help. There are swans eggs that have fallen from the nest, Fairy paintings that need re-colouring, musical flowers that have to be picked, fairy lanterns that need lighting and Leila the unicorn who is stranded on an island. Many of these screens can also be printed out to look at later and if you correctly make all five wands you’ll be invited to a moonlight picnic behind the crystal door.
