Get ready for full-on explosive sci-fi action, high
stakes and out-of-this-world special FX as Vin Diesel
(The Chronicles of Riddick, xXx) is back at his best
on a mission to save the future of mankind in Babylon
A.D., released as a single DVD and as specially extended
DVD and Blu-ray editions on Monday 29 December courtesy
of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
The Babylon A.D. extended DVD and Blu-ray both include
a pulse-pounding extended main feature with even more
blasts for your buck, plus a stack of exclusive extras,
including filmmaking featurettes, a prequel to Babylon,
galleries and much more. Both releases also include
a digital copy of the film allowing you to transfer
the entire movie onto a portable device such as your
iPod or laptop.
Directed by Mathieu Kassovitz (Gothika, Assassins)
and starring Vin Diesel as Hugo Cornelius, a mercenary,
Melanie Thierry as a genetically altered woman called
Aurora and Michelle Yeaoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,
Sunshine) as Sister Rebecca, Babylon A.D features a
fast-paced, futuristic storyline that’s guaranteed

Set in the post-apocalyptic future, Toorop (Vin Diesel)
is a mercenary hired to deliver a package from the ravages
of post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe to a destination
in the teeming megalopolis of New York City. The secret
package is a mysterious young woman carrying an organism
with potential to become the next Messiah — and
everybody wants to get their hands on it.
The movie, which is based on the critically acclaimed
French novel Babylon Babies by Maurice G. Dantec, will
leave you gripping the side of your sofa as the action
unfolds on screen and is a must-have addition to any
