| Within 72 hours America was ravaged by a devastating plague
after a week there was virtually nothing left. 90% of the population lay dead or
dying; covered with seething growths and spouting their hot blood onto the streets. A few
survivors formed into cults that paid homage to the Brood, an undead and ancient evil that
had made its home beneath the bowels of the city. It has take control of the country and,
unless stopped, it will take control of the world. This is ABOMINATION The
Nemesis Project. A game of teamwork, strategy and a battle against a biological
nightmare of biblical proportions. It sounds scary
doesnt it? But put your fears aside and step into the role of leader. Your job is to
select, equip and direct a team of genetically enhanced warriors in this final battle
rescuing the earth from total destruction. An isometric 3D landscape is your
battlefield and it can take the form of city streets, jungles or barren, icy wastes across
the five battle zones. Control your men individually or as a team send them up onto
the rooftops or into the alleys to seek out members of the Brood. Locate the bodies of the
fallen and search them for weapons and ammo, check the trashcans and the cars, destroy the
seething, pulsating embodiments of the ancient evil and eradicate their zombie-like
minions. Youll have more than 100 types of weapon to fight with
some normal, some experimental and some created from your research of captured
Brood. The realistic effects these can have are not for the faint hearted as limbs and
bodies often become detached and blood-spattered vehicles erupt with shattering
noise, flinging their parts around, and the cries of the helpless echo around as you send
your team into hostile situations. Each mission can have its rewards, its disasters and its secrets
to uncover. Training is given but only goes a short way to prepare you for the ABOMINATION
you must face either alone or as part of a multiplayer game. Simple mouse control lets you
concentrate on your tasks while great audio and graphics bring home the horror of The
Nemesis Project. |
